INITIATIVE COMMITTEE (DRVIC)
The Domestic/Relationship Violence Initiative Committee – Red Deer (DRVIC) was undertaken as a cooperative and collaborative effort between agencies involved in providing services to victims of domestic and relationship violence in our area.
The goals of the initiative are:
To provide a comprehensive approach that best meets the needs of those most at risk in domestic/relationship violence
To provide comprehensive education to the community regarding domestic/relationship violence.
To eventually reduce the number of violent domestic/relationship incidents.
The Crisis Centre – Sexual Assault Services is a founding member of DRVIC and continues to support the initiatives of this committee.
